Associate Tutors: Module Marking Opportunities

Construction and Real Estate subject specialisms; work is undertaken remotely 

Our Associate Tutor community assists with various online teaching and learning activities, including managing online discussion forums, assessing coursework and exam marking, delivering webinars and project supervision.

We currently have a requirement for Module Markers to assess coursework and exam marking at both Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels in the following subject areas:

  • Building Economics (Postgraduate and Undergraduate)
  • Commercial Property Management (Postgraduate and Undergraduate)
  • Contemporary QS Practice (Undergraduate)
  • Contract Administration and Practice (Postgraduate)
  • Contract Procedures (Undergraduate)
  • Costing and Contracts (Postgraduate)
  • Development Appraisal (Postgraduate and Undergraduate)
  • Estimating and Tendering of Construction Projects (Undergraduate)
  • Law for Surveyors (Postgraduate)
  • Measurement and Estimating (Undergraduate)
  • Measurement and Quantification of Construction Works (Undergraduate)
  • Procurement and Tendering (Postgraduate)
  • Professional Cost Management (Postgraduate)
  • Project and Cost Control (Undergraduate)
  • Property Law (Undergraduate)
  • Planning and Development (Postgraduate)
  • Property Transactions (Postgraduate)
  • Valuation (Undergraduate)

This work is commissioned on a casual, ad-hoc basis and can be fitted in around existing work commitments.  Pay rates vary according to work undertaken. All payments for marking are made via the UCEM payroll.

Any experience of using a Virtual Learning Environment and/or Turnitin would be an advantage.
