Associate Tutors: Module Marking Opportunities

Construction and Real Estate subject specialisms; work is undertaken remotely 

Our Associate Tutor community assists with various online teaching and learning activities, including managing online discussion forums, assessing coursework and exam marking, delivering webinars and project supervision.

We currently have a requirement for Module Markers to assess coursework and exam marking at both Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels in the following subject areas:

  • Law for Surveyors (Postgraduate)
  • Property Law (Undergraduate)
  • Planning and Development (Postgraduate)
  • Property Transactions (Postgraduate)
  • Valuation (Undergraduate)
  • Policy, Planning and Practice (Undergraduate)

This work is commissioned on a casual, ad-hoc basis and can be fitted in around existing work commitments.  Pay rates vary according to work undertaken. All payments for marking are made via the UCEM payroll.

Any experience of using a Virtual Learning Environment and/or Turnitin would be an advantage.

Associate Tutor Opportunities

Our Associate Tutor community assists with various online teaching and learning activities, including managing online discussion forums, assessing coursework and exam marking, delivering webinars, project and dissertation supervision, and also updating and developing online learning materials.  We need to increase our pool of available associates in the following subject areas:

  • Building surveying
  • Quantity surveying including M&E
  • Construction management including civils
  • Construction technology
  • Valuation including statutory valuation
  • Residential estate management and residential valuation
  • Investment including real estate investment
  • Management finance and science
  • General management including retail (managing shopping centres)
  • Marketing including applied international marketing
