UCEM to host its first ever #TwitterTakeover

Posted on: 16 August, 2017

UCEM’s Admissions team will be swapping their phones for laptops for a series of ‘Twitter takeover’ events over the coming month.

Our dedicated team will be on hand to answer any questions prospective students may have about our programmes and studying with UCEM as the deadlines to enrol loom nearer.

The team will man the tweets coming in to our @StudyUCEM account on the following dates and times:

Saturday 19 August – 2–3pm

Wednesday 23 August – 11am–12pm

Wednesday 30 August – 7–8pm

Tuesday 5 September – 6–7pm

Wednesday 13 September – 11am–12pm (all times are BST)

James Ritson, the Programme Leader for the MSc Building Surveying, will join the Admissions team on 23 August for a special ‘Meet the Programme Leader’ takeover, where prospective students can ask more about his programme, as well as any other enquiries.

UCEM’s Interim Head of Admissions and Student Registration, Sophie Elliott, said, “At this time of year, the Admissions team receives a high volume of enquiries about our programmes so we thought this would be a great way to engage with our prospective students, particularly as more and more people use Twitter to contact organisations.

“Our team is primed and ready to deal with whatever questions we may receive and we look forward to providing instant responses to every enquiry received during the ‘takeovers’.”

So, wherever you are in the world, if you are interested in studying with UCEM and would like to learn more, then join a #TwitterTakeover on one or more of the five dates listed above.
