CEM and RICS India at Valuation Conference in Kolkata

On 12 March 2011 RICS India held their first international conference in Kolkata. The subject was International Valuation Standards and was arranged to launch the RICS India section of the new ‘Red Book’ that takes effect in May 2011.
Representing the International Knowledge Partnership between the two organisations, Ben Elder – Director of Business Development at CEM – gave the keynote address which set out the benefits of adopting International Valuation Standards. Ben followed this with a workshop session on ‘Valuation for development.’ Both sessions proved very lively affairs with the audience participation well above average.
