Single Module Study Programme

This programme is designed for experienced graduates wishing to achieve chartered status and to extend their theoretical knowledge. Using a range of modules from our accredited postgraduate programmes, you can choose subjects to help you study for your selected RICS APC pathway.

You are able to study any module from the modules shown in the programme outline. On successful completion of the module you may choose to proceed to the Postgraduate Certificate Built Environment Studies or to one of our MSc or MBA programmes if you so wish. You would be given credit from the full MSc or MBA for any modules studied here.

Entry requirements

If you have a degree qualification, or a good HND and three years’ experience, you are eligible to undertake the study of these professional development modules.

Programme outline

This programme currently comprises selected modules in different areas of specialism from our postgraduate programmes, as shown below. You are free to choose a module from any specialism. If you wish to progress to either the Postgraduate Certificate Built Environment Studies or one of our MSc or MBA programmes, you should ensure that you choose an area of specialism and then complete modules from that specialism only.

Where considered necessary to do so at any stage, UCEM may seek to make variations to programme content, entry requirements and methods of delivery, and to discontinue, merge or combine programmes. This is subject to consultation with relevant students and other stakeholders, setting out the reasons for the proposed amendment(s), and compliance with the requirements of the UCEM Code of Practice on Programme Monitoring, Amendment, Review and Discontinuation. Should such an eventuality occur during the admissions and registration process, applicants will be informed immediately of any change and the alternative arrangements that have been put in place.

Assessment

The programme will be assessed by coursework and examinations.
