UCEM is delighted to announce that it will be livestreaming its two Graduation ceremonies for the first time on Saturday (1 December).

Graduands, family and friends all around the world who are unable to make the two ceremonies in Reading will be able to watch both ceremonies via a YouTube link.

Coverage of the two ceremonies will also be provided on UCEM’s official Twitter account and newly launched Instagram account (both @StudyUCEM), with graduands encouraged to send Graduation photos and selfies on the social media channels using the #UCEMGraduation hashtag.

With live footage on YouTube, plus photos and live updates on Twitter and Instagram, those unable to attend have the opportunity to feel part of the day more than ever before.

UCEM Deputy Principal, Jane Fawkes, commented: “We have wanted to provide a livestreaming function for Graduation ceremonies for a while to cater for our worldwide student base.

“Now that we have a dedicated Media Production Team in-house, we have been able to deliver on this ambition for the first time on Saturday and I hope all those graduands unable to attend will tune wherever they are in the world.

“Our Graduation ceremonies are a highlight of the year for us. They are always joyous occasions and I am delighted we will be able to capture the events through our social media channels so we can reach a wider audience on the day.”

The undergraduate ceremony takes place from 10.30-11.30am (GMT) (link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9otTE44khVc) and the postgraduate ceremony takes place from 2.30-3.30pm (GMT) go to our YouTube channel here. Updates throughout the day will be provided on our Twitter and Instagram channels.
