You are cordially invited to join UCEM’s Property People’s Network Luncheon at the House of Lords on Friday 24th January 2020. This is a wonderful opportunity for members, UCEM students and alumni, and guests to meet and network with other professionals within the property and construction industry at a prestigious and unique venue.
The luncheon will be sponsored by UCEM alumnus, the Earl of Lytton, Patron of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, Chairman of the Boundaries and Party Walls Professional Panel of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Vice Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Excellence in the Built Environment, among other responsibilities.
You and your guests will be welcomed in the Cholmondeley Room reception area for drinks and to meet other attendees, followed by lunch in the Terrace marquee. The Terrace has stunning views over the River Thames and London and attendees are welcome to stand out on the balcony of the Terrace to enjoy the drinks (weather permitting).
You may also like to take a tour of the Palace of Westminster – ‘A Walk Through History’ following lunch. Blue Badge Guides will conduct the tours which will take approximately 90 minutes and highlights may include the House of Commons and House of Lords Chambers, the Queen’s Robing Room, the Central Lobby, the Royal Gallery, Prince’s Chamber, Moses Room, Norman Porch and Westminster Hall.
