We need a positive, dynamic and proactive Building Project Surveyor to join our asset management team as we strive to implement a new customer focussed approach to the way we manage and maintain our property assets.

Job profile

  • Diagnosing of building faults
  • Liaison with customers and management of contractors to improve the condition of our property assets

Qualifications and experience required/preferred

Candidates should:

  • Be experienced in diagnosing building maintenance faults, carrying out stock condition surveys and providing technical specifications for remedial works
  • Have practical experience in managing maintenance and improvement projects
  • Have experience working with/managing contractors
  • Hold a relevant degree
  • Have achieved or be working towards MRICS is desirable
  • Full driving licence
  • Be self-motivated, plan and prioritise your time effectively
  • Have great attention to detail and be solutions focussed
  • Have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and be a team player
  • Embrace mobile technology and in-house IT and data management systems
  • Have a commitment to continuous improvement and value for money

Salary and benefits

  • Salary: £27,320 (£30,913) £34,506
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • £3,871 car allowance
