How we support employers

We offer accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degrees that are a route to gaining Chartered status. These are delivered via supported online learning where your people can develop their skills quickly within the context of work, whether they are new recruits or existing staff. You can find out more on our Sponsoring a student page.

You can spend your apprenticeship levy on our undergraduate programmes if you are a UK based firm that is paying the levy. Non-levy paying UK firms can access the apprenticeships using government funding. No postgraduate Surveying degrees are currently approved for levy spend, apart from our Senior Leader Master’s which is designed to develop management and leadership skills in the workplace.

Our apprenticeship programmes range from surveying technician (Level 3) to senior leader (Level 7) and are taught via blended learning. If you are interested in recruiting an apprentice or training existing staff up on an apprenticeship, you can find out more on our Employing an apprentice page.

Whether you are looking to sponsor a student or employ an apprentice, the team at UCEM are here to help and support you.

UCEM are running a webinar about apprenticeships on 26 June, open to all SME’s and members of the Federation of Master Builders. More information can be found here.
