UCEM works closely with the leading professional bodies in the Built Environment to ensure that our programmes provide the knowledge and understanding required to achieve chartered status. These include the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (HKICM). All our bachelor and masters level programmes are formally accredited by at least one of these bodies. Our Foundation degree Surveying Practice is also recognised by RICS and CABE for Associate membership.
Under the current policy of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), graduates of UCEM programmes that are accredited by RICS are permitted to take the Assessment of Professional Competence of HKIS.
As a Higher Education provider using the Student Barometer™ (SB) or International Student Barometer™ (ISB), we show we are committed to enhancing the student experience. The i-mark provides instant and easy recognition of our institution’s dedication and commitment to all aspects of the student experience.
